2 - Backswing/Coiling
THEORY SECTION
Turn your shoulders sideways while keeping your shoulders and hips aligned and your head still. As you turn your shoulders slowly, move your racket back
Swing back with your shoulders and not your arm
The racket head should be higher than the wrist
Keep your elbow slightly bent and away from your body
Do not swing the racket too high or too low
Make sure your non-hitting arm is on the throat of the racket or extended toward the front
Turn your upper body until your shoulders are perpendicular to the net
Try to maintain your chin over your front shoulder at the end of the backswing
