  • Keep your non-hitting hand on the throat of the racket for added stability as well as to enhance your shoulder rotation.
  • Pivot with your outside foot, get the heel of your inside foot up and turn your shoulders sideways simultaneously.
  • DO NOT take your racket back with your arm but by turning and rotating your shoulders.
  • Keep a short back swing. Do not let your racket go further back than your back shoulder.
  • Your racket should be angled slightly back so the head of the racket is a little behind your hitting hand.
  • Your racket and your arm should form a ìVì.
  • Keep your elbow bent and the racket head pointing up.
