7 - USE OF THE NON-HITTING ARM

  • Keep your non-hitting hand on the throat of the racket for added stability and to facilitate upper body rotation.
  • Extend your non-hitting hand backwards toward the back fence as you make contact with the ball.
  • Try to keep a 45° angle balanced in the center of the two hands as you swing forward with your racket and move backwards the non-hitting arm.
  • Use the non-hitting hand to enhance a good center of balance by countering the racket arm.
